Do you use art books for inspiration?
Well, kind of. The only art book I own is the one for Frozen. No other film art books or ‘how to draw’ books or figure drawing books or anything. Luckily, there are lots of scanned pages online.
They do certainly provide a source of inspiration because it lets me see how other people make art and stuff. I personally love seeing videos or process photos of how a work is made though. Those inspire me to try whatever technique they used. To me, it’s better than just seeing the final product.
I hope this answered your question!
other ways to find inspiration or to break out of a slump:
Are u sad that kill la kill is now over and what is ur reaction in the last episode?
I am sad Kill la Kill ended. The show was a lot of fun and I loved the story and the characters and the music and the humor. As devastated as I was about the death of a certain character, I thought the bittersweet ending was a nice way to tie it all up. The good guys won, but not without losing some of their own. I do kind of hope the folks at Trigger decide to bring back that one character because HE WAS MY FAVORITE AND HE WAS SO SWEET AND UGH I JUST WANT HIM TO COME BAAAAAAACK
in short, yes i’m sad, but i thought it was a nice ending. :)
